Shipping & Delivery

Order Processing

1. Orders for in-stock products are processed within 1–3 business days.
2. You’ll receive an order confirmation email, followed by a tracking link sent to the registered email address once the parcel is dispatched.

Delay in Dispatch

1.      Kalatantu shall not be held responsible for delays caused by natural calamities, public holidays, or unforeseen circumstances.

2.      In case of delay due to the product being out of stock, you may be contacted via email. You may then choose to wait or opt for a full refund.

Delivery Timelines

1. Domestic (India): Delivered within 2–8 business days from dispatch, depending on the delivery pin code and courier serviceability.
2. International: Typically 5–15 business days from dispatch. Remote area service or local customs processing may add time.

Note: Delivery timelines are estimates provided by our courier partners and may vary due to logistics network factors, local restrictions, or customs checks.

Shipping Fees

1. Within India (Prepaid): Free shipping on all prepaid orders.
2. Within India (Cash on Delivery): ₹200 COD handling fee per order.
3. International: Flat ₹4,000 per order.

All applicable shipping charges (if any) are displayed upfront at checkout for transparency.

Cash on Delivery (COD)

1.      COD is available on select pin codes based on courier partner serviceability.

2.      A ₹200 handling fee applies to all COD orders.

3.      To confirm your order, a 20% advance payment of the total value is required. The balance 80% will be collected in cash upon delivery. This partial advance helps us ensure order authenticity and smooth dispatch.

Tracking

1. Once shipped, a tracking link will be shared via email to the registered email address. – need to check if shiprocket will send this message

Address Changes and Undeliverables

1. Address changes are possible before dispatch only. Once shipped, rerouting depends on courier rules and may incur a fee.
2. If a parcel is returned to us due to failed delivery attempts, incomplete address, or refusal, reshipping charges will apply.

International Duties & Taxes (need to check for this)

1. We ship on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis. Customs duties, VAT, and import taxes are not included in product or shipping prices and are payable by the recipient as per destination country rules.
2. Refusal to pay duties may result in the parcel being returned or destroyed by customs. In such cases, shipping fees and any third-party charges are non-refundable.
