Returns & Cancellation Policy
At Kalatantu, every piece is handcrafted with care and precision. Slight variations in colour, weave, or embroidery are natural characteristics of handloom textiles and are not considered defects. These subtle differences make each piece unique. Additionally, minor colour variations may occur due to photographic lighting conditions.
Return Eligibility
- Returns are accepted only if the product has a manufacturing defect or an incorrect item has been shipped.
- We do not accept returns for:
- Colour, pattern, or texture preferences
- Minor irregularities typical of handcrafted textiles
- Sale, discounted, customised, or made-to-order products
How to Request a Return
- Email us at info@kalatantu.com within 24 hours of delivery. Requests sent after 24 hours of delivery will not be eligible for returns.
- Include your order number, a clear unboxing video, clear photos, and a short description of the issue.
- Our team will review your request within 2 business days and share the next steps if the return is approved.
Return Conditions
- The product must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging with all tags and the invoice intact.
- Returns are accepted only after quality inspection confirms the defect.
- Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
- Kalatantu reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet these conditions.
Refunds
- Approved refunds will be processed within 10–12 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned product.
- For prepaid orders, refunds are credited to the original payment method.
- For COD orders, refunds will be made via bank transfer.
- Shipping, COD handling charges, and international duties/taxes are non-refundable.
If the returned item passes quality checks with no defect found, it will be sent back to you and return shipping costs in such cases will be borne by the customer.
Order Cancellations
Before Dispatch
- Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement by emailing info@kalatantu.com with your order number.
- Once an order is processed or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
- For prepaid orders, bank charges (if any) will be deducted from the refund amount.
After Dispatch
- Orders cannot be cancelled after dispatch.
- If a prepaid order is refused upon delivery, shipping and handling charges will be deducted before refunding the balance.
Damaged or Tampered Parcels
If your package appears damaged or tampered, please do not accept the delivery. Inform us immediately at info@kalatantu.com with supporting photos or an unboxing video, and our team will assist you promptly.
